This rock opera tells the story of Michael Miller who escapes to Spain and discovers his passion for the exotic world of the Gypsy dance, Flamenco.

Music for Spanish Day will be performed by San Diego's flamenco rock band, Sir Sultry. The five-member band mixes the genres of rock, flamenco, blues, jazz, bolero, soul, classical, and calypso to make for one unforgettable experience.

Calvin and Hobbes comic strip author Bill Watterson has also created a unique collection of woodcut drawings depicting the characters of Spanish Day. Spanish Day "demonstrates the beauty and importance of culture and ethnicity...as we look upon two musical worlds thousands of miles apart."

The performance hailed as "a triumph" by The New York Times will have you tapping your toes to the tune of flamenco music.
